A Blue Light Filter enhances the amount of blue light delivered by the Starlight Handpiece to the face. This helps to significantly kill the P.Acnes bacteria, leading to a reduction in Acne.

A Green Light Filter selectively heats up pigmented lesions, and also stimulates collagen growth in the dermis. This leads to clearing of pigmented lesions, such as age spots, freckles, and general discromia. 

Age Spots, sun exposure and wrinkles damage skin, giving the face an aged look. The Starlight Skin Rejuvenation Filter reduces the effect of age from the face, giving it a healthier, fresher and younger appearance. The light/heat combination is precisely calibrated by the software, and collagen stimulation just under the external skin layer is promoted, which leads to younger, more elastic skin.

The same filter also has the effect of reducing pore size, treating stretch marks, and improving micro-circulation.

StarLight features an infra-red filter for the hair removal function. Infra-red light selectively damages the hair follicles and the bulge around the hair follicles, leading to permanent hair reduction. The infra-red filter in the Starlight allows treatment even for dark Indian skin to be accomplished safely.
